OFC College Health and Social Care Level 3
Osa First Care Award in Working in Health and Social Care Level 3 course module is an accredited course and standards that define the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in the health and social care sectors. The program involved 80% theory and 20% Practice assessment; this can be done by either watching a video or asking your workplace assessor to observe you on some directed clinical skills practice.
The theory is on virtual classes and some e-learning to complete for the program’s first two months. Your assessment is through objective-based questions, and you will be required to evidence your e-learning certificates to gain eight credit credits.
The practical part of this module is through clinical skills education and training, practice and assessment. You will need to complete some units of clinical activities either at the workplace or in one of our centres. Your module lead will communicate this to you. The practical skills units are NEWS, professional, and health promotion activities (Looking after a patient or providing community care) with 12 weeks of work experience.
